Twilight Zone: Planet of the Apes (Part 2)
Uploaded by: RogerRmjet
Video Description:
Planet of the Apes "re-imagined" as an episode of The Twilight Zone. Why?
Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone, also co-wrote the screenplay for Planet of the Apes. Which is why the movie plays like a two-hour episode of the show, complete with social commentary and shock ending. Thanks to digital video editing, I was able to re-edit the movie as an episode of the
show. Opening narration comes from the episode "Elegy." Closing narration comes from "The Shelter." You can read the full "making of" story at http://www.theforbidden-zone.com/media/tzone.shtml Part 2 of 3.

The ape academic scholars of centuries past have twisted history in an effort to establish superiority over their enslaved and oppressed humans.
Now it is a land where colour and race discrimination do not apply. The distinction is simple, human (beast) or ape? It is very intriguing to see the playing field levelled for the humans.
Planet of the Apes challenges those social oppressive constructs in a way no other film had or has done since.
I can only conclude you don't understand which side of the line your on. My heart goes out to the poor unfortunate that has to look after you.
If you must borrow a remark from a film, try to pick one that's apt to your cause and not contradictory. No doubt you bandy this remark ad nauseam and thus lost it meaning.
And well ye knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath: We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."
