"ABATHING4P3" What the hell is wrong with you people? Since when did we start defining great as wiping out an entire race? There were lots of great white men in history who fought for what they believed in and died during that fight. They did things to benefit our world. What the hell did Hitler do to benefit our world? Hardly anything. The only good thing which I could say he did was promise the Germans jobs during the great depression, which if i may add was the only reason he came to power.

Secondly, what you're implying is that Europe was only strong because of Hitler? There is nothing that says that you cannot be compassionate for the weak and stand up for what you believe in, is there? So if Europe cannot find a way to balance both, then that's too bad. Although i believe in some of the theories and ideals of Nietzsche, i think that this is stupid. So i guess if we Europeans want to become strong again, we have to try an erase the Jews from the planet.

Why do we have to wait for other people to lead us? Why can't we lead? If you're so concerned about Europe becoming weak, don't sit on your ass pointing out the flaws, get up and do something. Anyone who cannot balance being compassionate, standing up for what they believe in, not being an idiot like HITLER, thinking about the greater good, and being strong isn't fit to be a leader. So i guess you aren't because you obviously think that if an entire race isn't wiped out, then you're not strong.

I don't define whiping out a race as great, but this man indirectly/directly did some great things for humanity, which we still befenit from today. I just don't think he deserves to be projected as he is today, if you think he is solely responsable for the warcrimes of nazi germany, like you portray, you are just ignorant. I don't think he even was aware of what exactly was happening at those camps, let alone gave personal orders to exterminate all jews, who even could be helpfull as workers. Those camps were all selforganised bodies under the command regional states. You honoustly think bush knows whats going on in guantamo bay?

Ofcourse that's not what im implying, I'm trying to make a point that we need more MEN who want to fight for what they believe in. Instead of giving in to the easy solution. I think it's good to be compassionate but not on the expense of our own. Thats what we are doing now, bringing all those eastern europe countries in(and imigrants from the middle east) for cheap labour, and bigger outlet markets, our politicians sold us out to the EU. For cheap dollars and cheap oil they sold us out.

You know, I have never actually seen a video of Hitler, just in school they showed us pictures and we read about him but that was it. We read the book...well I know it's called the Star of David but David something anyway, and it was a man telling his story about what went on in the consentration camps. I know all of it was awful but I can't help but find this piece of history very interesting. Any Germans or Jewish people here? Anybody? Anybody? Well, my deaf best friend is Polish & I'm Irish.

It's kinda hard leading a country let alone a continent when you are only 19, so give me a few more years. I can't remember the exact speech but in one of Hitler's speeches, he stated that "Jews, were the poison race and needed to be exterminated". ABATHING4P3, if Hitler was as smart and as great as you said, he would have had a "plan b" in case he lost the war so that the German economy would still thrive. BUT HITLER DIDN't. In late 1942, and early, 1934, Hitler hadn't even died yet but the German economy began to fluctuate and decline because the Germans were losing the war. The whole of Germany was in chaos and in utter wreck and Hitler wasn't dead yet. To me, a "great leader" would have ensured that this didn't happen.
