| Just discovered Abney Park (through this vid actually), just got Lost Horizons off of iTunes, it's a great album, interesting, distinct and different from pretty much everything that's out there, not just the sound but the content. |

| You're slightly correct. The original and traditional setting for steam punk is the Victorian era. However it is not limited to just modern technology sometimes it gets slightly more advanced with some lazer like technology. The only real requirement for a steam punk setting is for the technology to be steam powered for the greater majority of it. My favorite steam punk settings are the post apocolypse ones, only so much victorian era I can take. |
