I don`t know about louisiana but, Kentucky is much worse. They don`t even hide it. People there live on major state roads and have shelters for their roosters right there in the open. It's a matter of perception. In many countries, cock-fighting has been a culture for many generations. Regretfully, this "sport"(in some countries) been integrated with gambling and with greed people started using artificial weapons attached to the cock's leg and the consequences for that, is negative perception.
