I'm not really sure on who I think the greener party is, but I will say this: I tend to notice that Democrats (at least around here, in the bible belt) take global warming much more serious than the Republicans for the sole fact that they don't 'believe' in global warming. I just can't get past why someone thinks of global warming is a belief, and not a fact. Doesn't make sense to me. But for the most part, I'd say Democrat candidates seem to strive more to stop global warming.

Strangely enough, DeSmogBlog retracted their award for Obama. But they seem to have (had) a point in terms of his support for the coal industry and weak greenhouse gas reduction targets. It's appalling how little attention has been given to this issue in the debates.

And you know Obama wants to create a treaty organization amongst the worst polluters, which are the G8 nations plus China, Brazil, India, Mexico and South Africa, who aren't members of Kyoto. His environmental stand is aggressive AND achievable.
