Oh, and where's your peer reviewed scholarly sources to back you up Waterqueen? Because I can come up with several that say otherwise. Sexual conduct that involves condom use is safer than not using the condom. Yes, not all HIV cases are transmitted via sex, but as a large percentage is, it's a damn good place to start. No aggressive therapies or drug cocktails needed for those who never end up catching this disease. Less children orphoned and fewer babes being born terminally ill. Condoms FTW

Two comments: Annie is one of the greatest artists alive today; I am glad the video highlights the HIV problem and doesn't highlight the artists singing the song. Notice that Annie doesn't wear any makeup (most artists would be too insecure and would have brought along their stylists for the shoot).Also at first I wanted to see the other 22 female artists in the chorus BUT I think it would have taken away from the message. Great message, great video and superb cause to support here and abroad.

Aye Mr. Looney, but if you actually think for a minute that people follow that advice... Check the research journals mate: Abstinence campaigns (by themselves) don't work. There needs to be more done in the way of provisions and prevention of the spread of AIDS via education to the youth in all areas of the world as after years of HIV research there is still no cure or vaccine available.

I understand. However, it is weird how people will say, just use a condum when that is not 100%. In parts of places like Africa, education is very needed. Many people may not be able to afford basic essentials people in other parts of the world can. There are many people making strides in education, but there still needs to be more education. We have to change our lifestyles and put others first. That will change a lot of things. Having healthier lifestyles.
