| You are right. But the media (MTV, hiphip especially) beats it into kids heads that black kids are supposed rap, play basketball and commit crime and these things are cool, and these things are 'black'. What can we do? It feels hopeless. |

| Anyone who thinks black solidarity is wrong...I'm not sure why it's wrong for black people to express a desire for solidarity when every. Other. Race. Does this on a regular basis. For the betterment and survival of their people. And it's expected. And it's honored. And it allows them to grow and prosper. Makes you wonder why some don't want black people to do the same thing, huh? |

| because it is racism in its purest form. it makes blacks seem hypocritical. we would have to excuse the racism of others to be taken seriously. other races uplift one another but the black race in america won't even uplift themselves. |
