This represents not just a single American citizen, this represents an American mindset that has peacefully resisted violence and anger throughout American history. This mindset is taking place in 2008 as Barack Obama. I'm not saying I think they are the same person, but I'm absolutely sure Obama is another incarnation of said American spirit.

You're right. The extreme right and left have seized both party's of our political system. Did anyone know that Kennedy sought advice from then former Pres. Eisenhower over the Cuban Missile Crisis? This type of cooperation for America isn't possible in politics today.

Bobby Kennedy was a politician in the true sense of the word. An intellectual but a man still very much in touch with his human sensitivity. He cared about human beings and had dogged ideals and morals. This is what a politician ought to be - benevolent. Instead we have corrupt economists treating human lives as statistics.

What the fuck is wrong with our world when we assassinate a man like this before he even has the chance to be president, and yet not only leave unburdened but re-elect a man like Bush who treats international law and the constitution like a Kleenex.

Those of you who have written that Bobby would nowadays be a republican, may I say in the most respectful way that you don't know what you're talking about. Today Bobby would still be seen as a radical which is strange to me because there's nothing radical about love and compassion between people.

If you really think about it the media runs the major elections. There are no more politicians who speak their mind and say what they truly believe and they can't because the media rips apart everything they say and if they do they call them crazy. It's so said............

this man has become one of the best influences on me. his clear way of exposing what i believe is every human's will and hope is with no doubt a very powerful, eye-opening lesson.
we all want happiness to us and those who we love. the only way to achieve this is together. no segregation or sectarism will lead us towards that goal, for the mindless menace of violence will not end if only a number of us seek to reach it.
we are, all of us, capable to help meet it. for we're all here together.
