Oasis schmoasis. They had some tunes but, in almost every case, the lamest lyrics which often had something to do with getting on or off buses with the minimum of fuss.
E on the other hand is a brilliant lyricist and truly original. Noel Gallagher could never have written: Life is White / And I am black / Jesus and his lawyer / Are coming back.
