Agreed, stories should come first which is why the live action movie didn't (imo) have the re-watch value. But animation is a visual medium primarily, not to mention the nature of the show having a heavy coolness factor. I guess I have gotten old, but it feels underacheived. I'm just glad what you're saying isn't the standard argument of some of the Geewuners on here like "wtf this isnt transformers this sucks," after only seeing the animation and not focusing on anything else. It's actually a good strategy to make a guy like Sentinel Prime. Make him really unpleasant and make everyone hate him. Then..... make ALL of the bad stuff happen to him! It really feels to good watch him falling and stuff.

Can someone explain why Ultra Magnus is a commander,in charge of every autobot,why Optimas Prime is some scrub with a wimpy voice?The animation sometimes seem's a little goofy to,should have a darker look to it,that would have been cool,although the story line is pretty good i'm starting to get into it.Megatron kicks ass.
