yeah, vegas can. just convert the layer to 3d alpah instead of standard. Yeah, after effects is very hard to use. you can use it for years and still not know how to do a bunch of stuff. Motion tile is an effect that extends the edges of an image. Most of the time this is done by just mirroring the edges so if you extend it too far it can start to look bad.
