we are living in the future, i dreamed of this kind of stuff when i was a kid. when i was in first grade, my class didn't even have a single computer. now in 11th grade, we have smartboards to replace ordanairy chalk boards. i wonder how technology will treat my childeren in the future...

I saw segments on tech channels years ago about this stuff... I heard it's been around for 30-40 years, the first 5-10, it really progressed in application when the government got hold of this technology. Just imagine the shit being developed now! of course, much of this stuff is invented by elite scientists working for governments around the world..... damn I want to work at Area51 so bad. haha

I could definitely see keyboards / synths, and other musical instruments with this thing on it. Synths in the future will be as slim as a powerbook. The whole casing could be coated in e-paper for an awesome display of the synth's ciruitry and editing... Of course you couldn't jam out without a touchpad for interactive control.

smartboards are kind of like whiteboards, only they are a display touchscreen that is completly electronis and does not use markers. there innovative because the teacher can bring up and write notes, web pages and can save the notes for students later insted of loseing the information and hhaveing to write it all over again.
