Obama is not empty words. Read his book Audacity of Hope which is a political history of the US. He describes decisions he's had to make in his 12 years as a Senator, how he thought his way through tough choices and respectfully listened to his constituents, even the ones who didn't vote for him or who had radically different beliefs. He came to fair creative compromises. He'll be a fair & balanced president who listens to all interest groups instead of being run by and for an interest group.
