He was dressed appropriately for the occasion ... and his rings and suit have nothing to do with his performance. George's rendition of this song is bluesy and powerful - if Bing Crosby were alive, I think he'd approve. George takes nothing away from Bing by putting his own signature on this song.

oh puhleez, la Barbra covered this song too and it's nowhere near this standard. And I don't think good ol' Bing had any use for anyone younger than him. He's probably best remembered for little drummer boy with a very young David Bowie...... and he didn't even want to do it. I don't think Bing sang for the love of singing alone...

i hate these big poncy stadium shows where its all very precise, but the songs from the last century album is just beautiful. god some of the stuff on it is heart wrenching, his voice is so beautiful. just bliss

"Michaels has a beautiful voice but his rendition doesn't reflect the emotion of the lyrics." I must say I agree, totally. I actually LOVE the tempo and instrumental rendition of this version, but there is no real or accurate "emotion" in his singing. Still, I am glad to be able to listen to it here.
