flight attendants are low class. they get paid shit all and have to walk up and down a tiny aisle all day and night between a bunch of hot stinky angry bitching people with lound annoying little kids. its no wonder 50% of flight attendants end up suiciding.

What are you on about, crushnkill? Flight attendants are the face of the airline, they uphold the airline's reputation by giving good customer service. And, the higher the class of each level in the airplane, the higher the level of the flight attendant.
Please, think before you go insulting an occupation that is far more fulfilling and respectable than you realize.

the reason i said all that is because infrared567's comment which implied that you must be 'classy' to be a flight attendant, and lets face it, with the abuse they have to cop, their job is not classy at all. and i wasn't dogging on what they do. if anything i said they are getting a raw deal. i got the suicide stats from 2girls1cup(dot com)

sounds more like you need to discipline your kids. the FA shouldn't have to do that. i'll bet she was "rude" for a damn good reason as they are trained for dealing with that. some parents let their kids run wild on the plane and it can be very annoying for passengers. it's the flight attendants job to keep the flight peaceful for all passengers.

she apologized after that, but you know damage has been done since she was speaking in such a way that almost all passengers could hear, i wouldnt't go that far of reporting her, the BIG BOSS up there will take care of that..thanks for your suggestion anyway.

It's on a bidding system and some want and hold these positions and others just are Sr. Enough so they get stuck in these postions. The airlines don't pick according to how "classy" the flight attedant is. It's a Crap shoot...LOL

to:skoben2000..hope all FA's are like you then it would really be an enjoyable flight..that flight that we took was a continental flight from EWR to LAX..in fairness to continental, when we took our flight back,this time,the FA on that plane allowed my two kids to go to the cockpit (b4 taking off) so they can say hello to the pilot & his co-pilot,in fact i took a photo of my kids w/them. Well, it was a bad trip going to LA bcoz of that FA but it was a nice trip going back bcoz of another FA.
