i havent listend to this song in 3 years.....it came out during my senior year..the same time a classmate killed himself....this song broke my heart then and still does now. it was the first time i had ever dealt with suicide and it changed my life forever...ill never forget him. since then i have lost 2 other people in my life....one being a very close friend...and my community has dealt with hadfuls of suicides...its a loss like you can never understand until you've been there

what i was getting at there was that...for those of you thinking about suicide....you have no idea how badly the people around you will hurt....its a pain that will be with them forever....so please talk to someone.
to the people who have lost someone....im sorry ..i wanted to tell everyone about the american foundation for suicide prevention....they hold anual charity walks around the country...doing something in there memory gave me an outlet...it helped me so much so i thought id share

Oh, God. This song and Adam's Song, I can't get through listen to them. I'm not even sure how I'm listening to it right now. At the beginning of this year, my father attempted suicide after my mom left him, and I can't even force myself to imagine what I would have done if the paramedics hadn't shown up in time. ANYBODY who is even thinking about it, I just want to find you, and love you. I would give anything to save you. Love one another. Take no one for granted. We are our brother's keepers.

Please, anyone who's thinking of committing suicide, talk to someone, call suicide prevention, before you do it. I don't care who you are, or if we'd even like each other in real life, but you need to know your life is precious, no matter how much you think you're worthless. You are NOT worthless. This makes me want to never again be unkind to anyone. You never know what other people might be going through, or what they're planning. I believe homosexuality is wrong, but it's like I told a gay friend of mine, "If these pride centers keep you from committing suicide- then I would rather you not kill yourself, than to argue with you about your lifestyle- I care more about you not hurting yourself than winning some stupid argument".

i love this song and i had three kids that i went to high school with that killed themselves because they wanted to quit drugs but they didnt know where to turn to get help and noone saw that they wanted or needed help. i just pray that everyone pays attention to everyone that they know so this doesnt happen anymore.

How can you tell people to keep a loaded weapon and to drink some beer and all will be better in the morning? What they need to do is get rid of the weapon, and instead of drinking, call someone for some help. There is help out there for those who truly want it and are strong enough to seek it.
