Can someone help me out? I'm looking for a commentary where the one commentator goes mad and says something like "Great Britain, on the line."
I'm pretty sure it was a bbc commentary of either this race or the 2004 race. I've watched a british commentary of the 2004 race and they barely get excited.

Yes I tried to find it. It's definitely the 2004 race not this one, and at the end it says "One last time" or "One last push" and it's really dramatic. Can't find it though.

Thanks a lot! Both the commentary for this one and the 2004 race are such memorable occasions, I just hope the boys can do it this year. Although the 8 looked like our best crew in the heats. Come on GB!!

That is correct, except Topolski was the 'expert' commentator in both versions. In the first, he's practically creaming himself with excitement, in the second when, as you point out, he already knows the result, he's practically, "yeah Redgrave wins" ignoring the Italians surging in the final metres. It's even worse with the eights. At 500m to go, he declares "Britain aren't going to be caught!" and the other commentator says, pointedly, "I wish I was as certain as you!"
