in Switch: Center position = Clean Up = Medium Gain Down = High Gain :-) The Drive Control. This sets How Hard the Preamp Valve is Driven. Tone = Does what it says on the tin. Master Volume Control = Sets how hard the power amp valve is driven. Standby, Triode and Pentode Switch. The Standby Swi
tch lets the Valves warm up before powering up the actual amp. Triode or Pentode = The Output Valve in this Amp is Classified as a Pentode. This is its Normal Mode of Operation, Producing about 5 Watts of Audio Output Power. However - The Valve can be Forced to operate as a 'Triode' Producing 1.8 W
atts of Output Power. Not only does it more than Half the Output Power, but it Totally Changes the Sound Characteristics of the Valve making it Warmer, Smoother and More Compressed. 'Rear Panel' Three Speaker Outputs - 4, 8 and 16 Ohms. Line Out Socket - For connection to a 'DI' Box or Recorder. Th
e 'Line Out' is an Attenuated Speaker Signal. Input Impedance Corrected Both Valves Re-Biased and Calibrated to work within their Prescribed Design Parameters - More than 50% of the Components on the PCB have to be changed in order to Accomplish this. Enclosed Fuse Mounted on the PCB - Protects t
