all a college does ... ( 3 months ago by charlesdarwinxxx)
all a college does is sell Admit tickets to class. 1. Yes, can come to class. 2. No, cannot come to class. Digital lectures can be seen by anyone, anytime, anywhere, any computer, any internet, any devces. Digital lectures can be seen by billions, billions, around the world, around the clock for free. Digital lectures is the future.

This lecture is excellent and explains everything on a level that one can understand and duplicate what our professor is putting across. Even if one has to watch it twice and use a dictionary on line to keep up that works as well. Since we can't see the monitor explaining the past observers, priests, theologians and philosophers, I found all of them in google search. This is so valuable and I thank you for sharing your wisdom.

These Lectures are absolutely superb! She is clear, well-paced, well-prepared, and chooses the topics very wisely. She gives only the really essential ideas. Thanks! Brian B. Student, San Jose State University.

Watch physics work faster! Need to watch a lot of lecture videos, see the Enounce channel (click the enounce link in this comment) for a demo of the Walter Lewin Promo video at 70% faster than normal speed. You can still understand everything!

2 pitfalls though: 1) You won't be rewarded a degree at the end of the course. 2) What about testing? Then again, if one watches just for the knowledge than for a degree, then yes, I agree with what you say.

Bravo to MIT for ... ( 3 weeks ago by motley7885)
Bravo to MIT for posting these lectures. Of course, these are for college level students who have some background in physics and chemistry (and honors level high school students). It would be better, though, if there were an inset in the lower left corner showing the slides they are seeing. Ironically, the video ends on an error. She writes the equation correctly, but states incorrectly that the electron's mass is greater than that of the hydrogen ion. I am sure she then corrected herself.
