Gilmour's touch is unique. I absolutely prefer a note per second as david does than metal fucking nonsense speed solos (some metal players are exceptions).

David Gilmour personally is the best guitarist ever to set foot on earth. His solos are amazing and have so much soul. I personally think that Gilmour is a better guitarist for certain reasons, but I still think Hendrix is extremely good also.

How the fuck can anyone play a live improvised solo and thereby make me believe that he is in fact god. im a guitarist too and if i even attempt to play this song like david does, i will have daves version in mind when i play myself, and my version will sound like shit.
