| thats horse crap. Granted, "eurocentric" folk can run a country down, using it for personal gain, but they dont destroy the country. (with the esception of stalin, or those other crazy russians) but seriously lets take i dunno, Africa for example. theres a group of nations that prospers. |

| It's because of the crops that Roo's get to plague proportions. Sheep have bugger all effect on Roo populations. Why do you think Roos need to be culled periodically? Because there's not enough of them? Because all the sheep "broke up the soil". On one hand you say "get rid of the sheep and they'll do better" and on the other you point out that they *are* doing better. |

| Sorry to confuse. Actual quote: "if you are really interested in supporting Australia's wildlife ..." (note that's 'wildlife', not just roos). If eating more roos lessens the market for sheep it would be better for Australia's wildlife in the long run. Roos are already a sustainable harvest, but would be even more so if there were fewer sheep competing for food. That doesn't mean there aren't enough roos now. Roos have increased not just because of crops, but because of land clearing in general. |

| Just a heads up, the megafauna of Australia that died out 50,000 years ago coincides with the earliest humans in Australia. Which were quite obviously not "White people" as you put it. Further, the megafauna of North America were likely wiped out by the arrival of humans in North America, which were not white people. Before you go spouting racism maybe you should consider learning about what you're talking about. Humans cause environmental disaster, not just White Humans. |
