| there is alot of reasons. Every car company does it. If a car is fast one year next they might go a bit lower on hp and more on engine response or something, whatever the company is feeling. |

| this is bad comparing because you can't say after 1 lap wich car is faster / better and allso the conditions of dry or a wet road is crucial.So nice try but the result is useless. |

| You gotta remember that the Evo 6 was(like JuanitoColombia says) the last real Evo because mitsi stopped basing Evo's after the 6on their actual rally cars. If they put the Evo 9 up against a Makinen Edition Evo then it would've got beaten by more! The 6 has a rally background where the 9 doesn't. Not to mention that the 9 was more refined so that the it appealed to the middle aged guy having mid life crisis as well as the younger car enthusiasts. I could go on but im running out of space.. |

| that really wasnt a good test because there are sevral variables that could change the results like driver.. how do u kno she didnt just swing too outside on a turn with a 9 or something... shes never going to follow the EXACT same path she did before... i mean im not saying i like the 9 better.. i just dont think it is a very accurate test |
