Saying it is an opinion is an insult because ur denying its existence, therefore, denying that there are people who are negatively affected by it. Ur also denying the history of so many people; this is an insult! Can racism be weighed? To me, yes; it feels heavy on my Black shoulders. Can I experience it w/ my senses? Of course! How many times have you been pulled over by the cops for driving while Black? Make no mistakes; I never stated that (poor) Whites were not negatively affected by the system. It's funny you bring up the cop issue. I've been pulled over 4 times in my life. All minor traffic offenses. Out of the 4 cops, 3 where white and 1 was black. Also, out of the four, I was only given one citation. Which one gave me the ticket? The black one. It would be easy for me to say he was racist. However I have no proof that he would've treated a black man any diferent. That's because I'm reasonable and you're not. I payed my ticket and moved on; blaming no one but myself.

If I was in your shoes I'd probably be saying something like that too. One thing I think we both agree on is racism is definitely a sickness. Wasn't a very fair statement, was it? In fact, some may even say it was racist. Here's how anyone of any race can defeat their own fear of racism: When you feel that you may have been a victim of racism, ask yourself if you have proof that the perceived racist would treat you different if you were of another race. Instead of letting your emotions control you, look for proof. If you have no proof, then you've no reson to feel victimized.
