This is the best explanation in my opinion. When I sweep I can make the strings go quiet after I let them go. Is it my guitar or is there some way to stop it?

I'm learning sweep picking from this video, I've started 3 days ago and now I'm at the second level. That means I can sweep on 3 strings and now I'm trying to sweep on 4 strings and I can sweep on 4 strings too, but yet not fast enough. I recommend you to practice sweep with a LOT of patience and WTIHOUT stop. Sit down and sweep on 3 strings as long as you can. If your hand starts to get hurt, stop for a break and do it again until it will hurt again. It's a painfull process, but it helps.

Yeah I started on this and about a week i could sweep doen but not up and then i quit for like 4 days and i had to learn it all over but i just wanted to make sure that this video works. Thanks alot ill be sure to learn this!

Mm..Maybe there are a couple times where it sounds good, but I, personally think it sounds better with an electric..You can make such interesting sounds with the right amps, and electrics..Sweep picking is an essential skill, in my opinion.
