Seriously, you're a supporter of Obama's "change" message, so tell me what these big changes are about. I'm a political junkie so I'm interested in politicians' stances even when I don't agree. Objectively, Obama may have peaked too early and the change message is part of the reason. Hillary was r
ight on his heels and now McCain seems to have the momentum. Obama is making serious errors by saying "we're going to change things" but giving little/no details.

How am I "ignoring" Obama's details when this is the third time I've asked an Obama supporter to tell me a few. So, again - one more time - tell me what some of Obama's "exciting changes" will be. If they are so numerous, why can't anyone remember them?

McCain will veto bills overloaded with pork and notify the voters which elected rep.'s are responsible. He will drill for oil in Alaska. He will not raise individual taxes or capital gains taxes. He will not withdraw forces from Iraq or Afghanistan until those govt.'s have reasonable chances to sustain themselves, and he will do whatever is necessary to finally get bin Laden.

jksonny, you claim that you don't know what changes Obama is proposing. Well one very obvious change is removing the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest 2% of Americans who don't need and didn't ask for a tax cut (those are his words). Libertarians are pretty stupid, compared to Republicans. They think they owe the community around them nothing. Guess what, you live in America, you pay tax. If you want to destroy the Federal Reserve and the IRS, move somewhere where there's anarchy like Somalia.

By the way the "McCain will veto bills overloaded with pork" would have meant something before McCain picked Bridge to Nowhere Palin. The government has bills too, and the dirty truth that no candidate is willing to talk about is America will need to raise taxes or go broke. If you think this is a lie, look at the government deficit, there in black and white. But at least Obama says he'll raise taxes for only the richest. McCain says he'll cut. Maybe he thinks money grows on trees like Mugabe.

I think he gives plenty of details and if you were unclear his page is but a click away. His message is change and the policies he wants to introduce drastically reflect on his message. Your right though McCain does have the momentum, but that is because his campaign is good at diverting attention and kind of setting the tone of what makes news with ridiculous ads and propaganda. It gets the media talking about some "scandal" instead of the issues.

Momentum is a tricky thing. I think the debates will have a huge impact this time around. Watch for the McCain people to start raising expectations for Obama's performance and lowering expectations for McCain. Then, when McCain does well (he's excellent in debates), it will be seen as another example of Obama's lost shine. It's part of the game that Republicans seem to play better than the Dems.
