Think before you speek, Mclaren had the fastest car in the world for 9 years. Ferari, havent been at the top since 1987 with the F40. Also i know which car id pick out of any Ferrari and Mclaren!

mclaren does not deserve as much credit as you guys think for the F1. BMW does i never hear anyone who has actually driven the car wax on about its fluid chassis or whatever. Its always always ALWAYS about the engine and the acceleration. (naturally aspirated i might add) Lately, mercedes has taken the cuntmuscle approach of turbo/supercharging their engines to get high HP. Its pathetic. All you Ferrari haters can go fuck yourselves

That's odd. The 599GTB gets to 60mph in 3.2, compared to SLR's 3.6. The SLR is slower, but has 6 more ponies and way more torque...

no, cos that was mainly from the 'Michael Schumacher years' all the other drivers were close. Its just Schumacher had the car dialed compared to other drivers (including his team mates), Also i belive the only races ferrari enter are F1 and 24 hour races (even the 24 hour onces arent 'scuderia') but mercedes DTM, Indy car, and previously 24 hour races so they dont just put all there efort into F1!

One must realize that the 599 GTB is not in the same category of the SLR here. It is not the flagship of the Ferrari line. The SLR, being the ultimate Merc, should go against the ultimate Ferrari: the Enzo. I don't think the results would be the same. We all know which will win.
