Building a sentry there would not be the best idea, build it back near the tele exit so it protects it allowing your team access to roof. Giving away your position on the roof will allow for easy destruction by any sniper, soldier or demo.

why not?this is sometimes a very common tactic.
Btw i think that the teleport entrance is intended to build at spawn or somewhere enemies cant acces/destroy it.

you're doing it wrong! fastest order I've seen is tele entrance dispenser tele exit blow up dispenser and exit when at top tele exit dispenser even then you have to be damn fast and need good support for it to be worth the hassle
