saulaan how come ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
saulaan how come you never answered my questions: 1. do you and your family still practice polyandry ? 2. what has dalai accomplished for his exiled people ? 3. were you a slave owner ?? or landlord ?? 4. are there any intelligent tibetans, besides fucking monks ?? 5. do you really believe that based on dalai's hard line and your folks hard line china will budge, let dalai rule over another slave empire and let your folks reclain your ex slaves ?? return ??
Golden, my family ... ( 1 month ago by SauLaan)
Golden, my family consisted of a nurse and teacher; my dad and uncle were just kids. They lived on the border of Tibet from 1923 to 1949, also spending some time in Shanghai. The Dalai Lama has accomplished for his people what so many other people lack - visibility. The North Koreans are forgotten, the Burmese ignored, but at least Tibetans have made their situation known, through tireless effort to save their people. Hurting Tibetans hurts China; destroys race relations.
Even Chinese ... ( 1 month ago by SauLaan)
Even Chinese writers, now that the games are over, are beginning to say that the crackdown has been really harmful to relations between Chinese and non-Chinese, and that it will take a long time to try to fix it, compared to how quickly the crackdown was able to ruin it. In the meantime, the crackdown is getting even worse, and if people don't open their eyes, it will be so bad for China. The people could use their voice not only to boycott French products, but call for calmer government.
Saulaan, actions ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
Saulaan, actions speaks harder than words. dalai wants his slave empire back that is unacceptable !!! ethnic relations are destroyed by dalai not china your riots have united 56 ethnics and it's overses diaspora more stronger than ever. i donot support past ccp created disasters such as famine in 1960, cultural revolution, but if ccp can keep china together and fight splitist dalai than i support ccp.
saulaan. thanks for ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
saulaan. thanks for telling your history. ccp was not always right, and has not a few bad things as of late corruption among cadres especially local officials is very obvious, those actions should be condemned. that is not a reason to split china. the west is using dalai as a tool to split china, 90% of chinese are against destroying unity of the country.
goldenkey, if the ... ( 1 month ago by SauLaan)
goldenkey, if the west wanted a free Tibet, Tibet would be free. The west (as a group of governments) has never supported Tibet, and never will. China is just pissed that so many individuals in the west sympathize with the Tibetans. So China screams loudly, "The CIA is trying to destroy China! All the west is trying to destroy China!" That's just a load of garbage. Beijing can't stand the fact that regular people object to China's occupation of Tibet. Occupying Tibet is BAD for China.
saulaan, i strongly ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
saulaan, i strongly disagree with you the west has historically been prejudiced to china, the west never had looked upon asians and africans as equals, although they are more polished now, since they need china to mainly counter the Russians. the neocons are very bad if they had a chance they would not hessitate to invade china a second.
saulaan, you are ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
saulaan, you are siding with dalai cause china has hurt your social standing, china has taken your slaves away and it will only be natural if you are mad. most of the tibetans (ex slaves) do have a better living now. worshipping a living person (dalai) is by western definition called a cult. china has improved greatly it used to worship mao, but now they do not do that any more.
saulaan, you are ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
saulaan, you are again misreading. you like to interprete thinks your own way. anyway fucking shit dalai is now sick hope he suffers a lot before he checks out and become reincarnated into a cow for the sins he has committed.
tseringnorbu ... ( 1 month ago by goldenkey007)
tseringnorbu fucking retarded tibetan that you are ! proof that you have not lived in the stone ages. proof that you guys did not commit slavery proof that you are a productive ethnic group proof that you are treating every tibetan equally proof that you guys do not practice polyandry
The feudal serfdom ... ( 1 month ago by ikkansee)
The feudal serfdom under a theocracy constituted the ruling power of old Tibet. The Tibetan people suffered exploitation and had a generally miserable existence. In accordance with the wishes of the Tibetan people, the central government quickly quelled this rebellion, and began instituting the democratic reforms and abolishing the feudal serfdom. A million of Tibetan serfs were liberated, and would henceforth no longer be sold, transferred, or forced to labor as chattel.

OMG!So much hate! ... ( 1 month ago by BGlady)
OMG!So much hate! Not to mention accusations, which if u read objectively don't even make sense (refering to the comments), but that's besides the point. So have u guys ever wondered why those guys protested or "rioted" as the "objective" reporter so kindly called it? Yeahhh...gotta love biased television...try searching for the other side of the story when ur results aren't censored by the government. U will discover a whole new concept. It's called, "What ur government doesn't want u to know!"
damn Tibetan monks, ... ( 1 month ago by Dragondecendent)
damn Tibetan monks, brutal and violent, a conspiracy to split China. No Tibetan Inquisition, the west want weak China, and China won't allow that to happen.
this is one reason ... ( 1 month ago by 007texan)
this is one reason why china must never give Tibet their freedom, western media sympathizes too much for the tibet people and never show the true darkside of them. American media networks don't show both sides of the story. just like the georgia russia conflict..

Are there any Tibetans in the police force in Tibet?
Quotes from the ... ( 2 weeks ago by nzgav)
Quotes from the official website of Central Tibetan Administration tibet(.)net Tibetans are subject to arbitrary arrest and detention Torture still prevails in Chinese prisons and detention centres Enforced disappearances, where a person is taken into custody and the details of their detention are not disclosed, continue to occur. Today, it appears the Chinese are using Tibet as a dumping ground for their, and foreign, nuclear waste.

what about the footages where chinese armed police opened fire on tibetan protesters and killed atleast 80 peopel including few children in kham
these footages ... ( 2 weeks ago by tinchojos)
these footages might be disturbing but if you get to see the real situation inside tibet you will be shocked by the chinese propaganda..........tibetans have the right to live peacefully on their land if chinese abandon their influence in tibetan life and culture i wish chinese leaders could take initiatives and resolve the conflict i am afraid these peacefull resident of highlands might turn violently if things are not changing

If you want to see ... ( 2 weeks ago by nzgav)
If you want to see a video that can give you an insight into how bad things really are in Tibet watch Tibet: A Buddhist Nun Tells Her Story where 15 teenage nuns were imprisoned, tortured and 14 of the 15 died. The sole survivor tells her story. Just watch the first 75 seconds, as the story is not very pleasant after that. have a nice day
"[Tibet] is ... ( 2 weeks ago by nzgav)
"[Tibet] is entirely closed & witnesses unimaginable things. In March 2008, 20,000 people disappeared with no trace during the upraising in Tibet. Individuals attempting to escape over the border are being shot like in a shooting-range. We saw filmed material & photos taken out by refugees of Tibet. If a shown to a wider audience, all worldwide human rights institutions would unanimously respond to this crime against humanity." --Vytautas Landsbergis Lithuanian film-maker, 9/3/2008
