its not to good to have your ass way back behin the seat because when youre going down a steep hill you want control of the bike so you have your body right over the seat and a little behind. because if you have ur ass way over the back wheel you wont have control over the front tire.wich aint good.

Not exactly so. Some drop and jump techniques involve going way back behind the seet exactly for reasons of maximising control during or after the jump. Some of these crashed because of too much weight on front wheel upon landing. Your ass over the seat = too little space to absorb impact upon lading or hitting something... then you hit your balls on the seat, bounce off, and (if you're not feeling lucky) fly over the handle bars and perform a faceplant.
