That's only because the great Karate fighters never entered the UFC until now. In 1994-1999 only the White, American Karate teachers that did karate for like 2 years entered the UFC. Let's see how a grappler does against an experience karate fighter like Lyoto or Ogata. They'd get handled. DICK!! Grappling only dominated because Rorion Gracie, the founder of UFC, let his nephew fight the crappy Karate fighters. He'd get handled by good ones like Tsukamoto, Ogata, Lyoto. DICKHEAD!

I know what MMA stands for, but you do not. MMA doesn't mean you are required to crosstrain. MMA only means that styles are now allowed to compete with eachother. Kickboxing K-1 only allows Kickbox vs. Kickbox. Boxing only allows Boxing Vs. Boxing. However, MMA is the only sport that allows 1 style Vs. another different style to fight. That's what MMA is, RETARD!!

And how often do you see someone get finished with a Judo move like Taiotoshi?? You hardly ever, if ever. Shotokan has finishing moves, lots. I'll bet you $10,000 dollars that Sensei Koji Ogata would finish Randy Couture or Hidehiko Yoshida in a street fight or MMA. Yoshida and Couture have absolutely nothing to finish Ogata with. Ogata is too much for them. But you guys probably won't bet with me cause you don't have money. HA!

I enjoy watching Judo/newaza, but I believe that Shotokan is far better and more enjoyable, and it angers me that boxing, judo, grappling are more popular than Shotokan. And you're a funny guy for thinking the guys in this vid can even lay a finger on Ogata or catch him. Your just biased. I understand

when I said "you guys don't have money," I meant that you guys probably wouldn't be willing to put up a ton of money on Randy or Yoshida to beat Ogata in a fight. I would definitely put up a ton of money on Ogata to beat them. I can't imagine how scary Ogata would be if he was fighting full contact rules like in the UFC. He's already too quick for Randy or Yoshida. Haven't you guys even noticed how nobody in the UFC has even given Lyoto a scar or bruise yet. That's shotokan mastery.

Yeah, that's because you don't know shit about Karate. Keep drinking the Royce kool-aid. You've never seen how fast or powerful Ogata is. Lyoto is actually mediocre Karate level skill and even he knocked out Rich Franklin with Karate. I can't imagine how badly Ogata would mess up Randy's face with karate.

Armlocks are allowed, unlike leg- and necklocks. The triangle lock shown in the video is named Sankaku if im not mistaken, hard to apply, but once u trapped in it, you wont come out out so easy... :)
