The saddest thing ... ( 3 weeks ago by canzo0378)
The saddest thing is he was a teenage pastor when he didn't know a thing about being a Christian, and he lived his whole life being a fake Christian and somehow convinced ppl around him so that he could even become a pastor at one point. But now, the fallacity in him is totally revealed and now the whole world knows that he didn't know a thing about Jesus, and still he'd been preaching about Him..moreover, he is now making fun of Christianity and being a disgrace to the christian communit...sad.
The sadder thing is ... ( 3 weeks ago by pbae1969)
The sadder thing is your inability to subtract. I say I'm 37 and that I was a youth pastor in '92. That would have made me an adult, not a teenager, unless you think 'youth pastor' means a pastor who is a youth, which would make you hilariously dim. Also, I converted as an adult. That's not my "whole life". And I preached about "Him" when I believed in him, and stopped when I ceased believing in him. It's called "changing one's mind". BTW, what's a "fallacity"? Sounds like a fun town.
Well, I feel very ... ( 3 weeks ago by canzo0378)
Well, I feel very sorry that you think you once believe in Him, because it ends up that you never even have known Him. If you surely know about parable about farmer and the seed, you might know what I mean. And off course, I didn't mean you were a teenager, when you became a pastor, but a pastor of teenagers. I meant a "fallacy" which is a typo. Only God will truly know, but most likely fact is that you NEVER have believed in Him even once, but you have deceieved yourself and others around you.

Fallicity. . .isn't she on Desperate Houswives? Fallicity Huffman?
Fallicity Huffman, ... ( 3 weeks ago by jambon2222)
Fallicity Huffman, it's obvious that your faith is in an immature stage of development given your hypersensitivity, or maybe you just don't understand English good. Paul is not attacking Christ, but the manifestations of human agency that are based on fallacious underpinnings, eg. syllogistic logic, materialism, etc. He's probably more Christian that you - why not take a New Testament course and find out more about the historical Jesus rather than the Hallmark version you obviously believe in.
"Off course" that's ... ( 3 weeks ago by pbae1969)
"Off course" that's what you meant. Your tenuous grasp of the English language very much puts in doubt your ability to parse the even finer nuances of biblical text. So I'm going to type slower for you: Why-is-it-so-hard-for-you-to-believe-that-one-can-genuinely-believe-something-one-day-and-change-his-mind-in-the-face-of-mounting-contradictory-evidence? When I was younger, I really believed in Santa Claus. I got older and learned some facts that disputed his existence. Same with God.
BTW, you have ... ( 3 weeks ago by pbae1969)
BTW, you have strange "typos" so I'm going to assume you have a sixth digit (prophesied in the Book of Daniel??) since while attempting to type "fallacy" as you say, you accidentally hit the "i" and "t" en route to "y". Or do you mean you "misspelled" it? Be honest. God is watching you and knows the truth of your heart and mind. Or better yet, do as Jesus says and go Matthew 7:1 yourself.
Even with all your ... ( 3 weeks ago by canzo0378)
Even with all your desperate efforts to find faults with my "English skills" and make fun of them like you made fun of Christianity and Jesus that you once believed, you should know what it means to "believe" if you truly knew about Bible or about Jesus Himself personally. Even during Jesus' time, there were so many who followed Jesus because they thought He would give them something that would "benefit" them instantly, but later, when they realized it was not so, they all had fallen away like U
If Paul is even ... ( 3 weeks ago by canzo0378)
If Paul is even slightly truly Christian, he would not make fun of, or bad-mouth, Christianity or Christians even if some of the Christians might not behave in the most Biblical fashion. If he had a slight inkling of respect for Jesus Himself, he would not use Christianity, which is His name, nor the Church, which is His body, as a means to gain popularity among non-believers for his own financial benefits. BTW, Paul himself stated clearly that he does NOT believe Jesus nor God any longer.
Even the followers ... ( 3 weeks ago by canzo0378)
Even the followers like Judah or Temas, who once "genuinely" followed Paul abandoned Jesus because they loved this world more than Him. Jesus Himself even said in one of His parables that thre will be many who sill call Him Lord, Lord, and who would supposedly have preached and prophesied in His name, but Jesus will say to them "I NEVER KNEW YOU." So in spite of you "geunine" belief in Him before, if you think of Him nothing more than Santa Claus now, you have NEVER KNOWN Him or believed in Him.
Fallicity, You ... ( 3 weeks ago by jambon2222)
Fallicity, You cling to knee-jerk dogma like a drunk to a streelight post. Have you ever studied the faith you profess to understand or is simply shouting louder or bullying others who have divergent views what you believe to be worthy of being Christian. Oh misguided defender of the faith, when you tearfully exhort your prayer group to pray for us sinners, do you think your heroic exploits will get the attention of that bible group cutie named Grace or whatever.
You're right - Paul ... ( 3 weeks ago by jambon2222)
You're right - Paul should not use Christianity to gain popularity with non-believers for financial gain. I forgot that using Christ's name for financial gain is ONLY acceptable for believers - and the church and the blood-sucking tele-evangelists have a monopoly on that.
Once again, your ... ( 3 weeks ago by jambon2222)
Once again, your utter lack of biblical scholarship outshines even your stupendously invalid logic. You need to bone-up on the history of the early Christian church my friend - they had better marketing than Coca Cola. OK - but let's say that there is no instant benefit associated with believing in Christ - there is still benefit, instant or deferred. That's why people believe in him. Or for the corollary. Regardless, the calculus of self-interest in at the root of all religion.
well, guess you ... ( 3 weeks ago by canzo0378)
well, guess you have no idea who the true believers are, and apparently you are not a christian either, so there is no point of further discussing this with you.
"Discussing"? You ... ( 3 weeks ago by pbae1969)
"Discussing"? You started this by making a ton of assumptions about a stranger. Probably not the best evangelical route. But for you, it's not about converting anyone with love or quiet prayer, is it? Your faith in Jesus is so weak you have to go around validating it on Youtube. Watch again and you'll see I'm not even attacking Jesus but a certain empty, hypocritical way of believing in him...which is probably why you took it so personally. And now you realize you're out of your depth. Sad.
Dude - you were the ... ( 3 weeks ago by jambon2222)
Dude - you were the one who picked the fight. If you want say "uncle" and bow out gracefully - then acknowledge publicly your deeply flawed logic, ignorance about your own faith, and that you have a lot to learn about life. Your binary view of who constitutes a "true believer" and why, is simplistic, divisive and harmful to your own cause. You acknowledge no interpretation other than your own. This absolutism will lead you to ruin. Repent of it and embrace the true spirit of Christianity.
