i mean really look at the lights the grill the door lining the fenders the bumber thre rear of the car the window flow line the only thing that does not resemble the bmw is tail lights and the hood but hey they had to be diff in some way

This are not American car. Both G8 and new GTO are imported from Australia by Holden in GM group.

When Holden designed this car they benchmarked it against a 5 series BMW.Probably unconsciously put some BMW design to it. Personally I can't see it. Put them side by side and Pontiac looks a lot more aggressive and masculine. Google Coupe60 from Holden. Thats what Pontiac needs. Unbelievable car but Holden won't build or export without the demand. Worthy GTO replacement.

When Holden designed this car, they benchmarked it against a 5 series BMW. Dimensions are very similar. Side by side, they look nothing like each other tho. Pontiac lot more aggressive and muscular. Want a new GTO, search Cuope60 by Holden. If enough demand it WILL be built and exported to Nth America and Britain! Coupe60 is fkn awesome.

its not based on an m5, nor does it look like one. its based on the AUSTRALIAN holden commodore, which has been around for much longer than the 5 series.

Piece of crap Holden masquerading as a Pontiac, which is still a piece of crap. No wonder its under $30,000. GM thinks its slick putting a Pontiac badge on a Holden and making people buy something thats built in Australia as an American vehicle. We all know Holden doesn't make really good quality cars. Just buy an Evo instead or put in some more money and get a beemer. GM, people are not stupid,if they are shelling out 30 g for a car,they will do research on it first before buying it.

its a shame the G8 is based of the Holden Commodore SS and not the HSV(Holden Special Vehicles) Clubsport R8, that baby eats M3s for breakfast.

It's a shame they put that body kit on it. It didn't actually need to look worse. The commodore is not an amazing car, rather a big, relatively cheap family workhorse. At a guess, they'd make up more than half of australia's taxis and police vehicles.

However HSVs, group A, Walkinshaw, r intense, n would eat up most cars on the road, wid loooks to die for.. pontiac shouldve taken the ss r8. n not fukd up the front end.. then americans wouild be happy wid pontiac..xD
