You're almost correct. But it was not only about the size. It was also about decoration. Shinya's drumset and J's monitor speakers look really flashy. But Inoran's monitor looks very sober, minimal (and, you're right, much smaller). :)

Are those really monitors though? I'd think they'd be regular amp cabinets as they're mic'd up and placed behind him, as opposed to monitors/wedgies that you put in front of you. They also look much too big to be regular monitors... anyway, many thanks for the translation, it's greatly appreciated! Cheers!
