I'm not saying every black person is like this but you can understand where the stereotype comes from - the gang culture that does exist and you hear about on the news. I wouldn't even go as far as saying that there are all bad stereotypes of black people. There are defnitely positive ones. That's not to say that they are 'good' if you apply them to every black person. A few I can think of at the top of my head: Black people are relaxed and friendly, very talented in music and arts, good dancers, singers etc. charming, and in america rich like the famous rappers! So these positive stereotypes are not necessarily good to have but they are positive none the less

Well I don't know depends on your stereotype preferences. I can think of a lot of chavy poor council estate white people who have babies with loads of different fathers as mazzoan describes. What I'm saying is that it isn't just a bad stereotype for black people it's prob more of just a general stereotype of chavy poor people who live on a council estates no matter what their colour. Personally when i think of POSITIVE black stereotypes, famous and rich black rappers come to mind a lot.

Hmmm I don't really know that much about rappers because I don't really listen to any rap music but from what I have seen, alot of them show their huge houses, cars etc. on that mtv cribs show.
