The eyes of Europe will be on Ireland as it prepares to ratify the European Union's new 'Lisbon Treaty' that is to replace the rejected European constitution. The vote takes place on 12 June.

I do not want to be part of a European superstate with it's own Army, Flag and President.
2. The reason for Ireland's prosperity in recent years is because of our low taxes and free market policies. The EU is trying to build a Command Economy which is run from an undemocratic centre.
3. 90% of the 40bn Ireland has 'recieived' since '73 has gone on CAP payments to farmers - Ireland now imports 75% of its food and 80% of it's fish. CAP = joke!
Who is setting the Agenda at the heart of the EU? Who wanted this treaty? Who will it benefit most? Not me or my nation-the power centre of the EU has been hijacked and is now greedy for more power-I want no part of this EU. Time to leave!

We are a low tax and low regulation economy that is exceptionally business friendly - the polar opposite of the EU.
