ok i will rephrase, in my opinion union is the inferior sport with to much goal kicking and general kick and chasing, in club rugby, there are bigger crouds attracted, in my view, the public schoolboy image that union portrays is the killer here, there are to many names like lawrence and Oli flying around. Anyway to prove my point, wasn't jason robinson one of the best players in englands modern history?
Finally, if you look at google trends, league is more popular! :P

Union is the more tactical game. League is like rugby on steroids mainly built for sprinters.
Jason robinosn was good but that was becasue he became an all round player. You may rember that he played at full back for a while and worked on his kicking game but robinson would not have been effective if it had not been for the absoulte masters of play greenwood and tindall. Its a shame we hav
e not found two great centres.

Primrose - league might be more popular in Australia, but thats about it, in every other major rugby country, union rules. Simply because it is a better game. In league you get to keep the ball for 7 continuous phases, how predictable and boring is that! At least there's a bit of spontaniety in union, kicking for field territory, the scrum is better than anything League has to offer.

Back when O'Driscoll was at his peak and we were great at lineouts.
This game broke my heart at the time and for some reason I keep watching these highlights. Maybe if I watch it enough times, the result will change ;-) I don't think we'll be so close in June, but there were a few positives from the BaaBaas match - not many, but a few.

i dunno like, our squad isn't amazing and the barbarians match - minus all of the star munster players - was extremely impressive for the Irish. To be honest its got the alarm bells ringing back here Lol :L

I have to say that the barbarians were terrible against Ireland, it was nice for us to get a game and a win under our belts before the SH tour but te baa baas were shocking. We'll take the positives out of the game and try to build on them but it's gonna be hard to beat the All Blacks.
I like the look of the new All Blacks team, a nice blend of youth and expieriance in their team. Whatever happens hopefully it's a good game, i can't wait til Sat morning to watch it.

yea it will be a good game but Ireland have a better team than they fielded in the match above ^. The All Blacks team is roughly the sme quality so i dunno i could sense Ireland's victory number 1 over us
