HOH Cells - Mileage increased by over 50%

Uploaded by: hohcells
Video Description:
Using a Datsun 120Y, we installed a HOH Cell, with over a 50% increase in mileage. City was: 23 MPG now: 34 MPG :: Hwy was: 35 MPG now: 54 MPG. Hwy testing was done on a consistent circuit, measuring fuel consumption in each trip. Results are averages, with better and worse data recorded overall. The Datsun continues to run rich, so still more room for improvement :: More at http://www.hohcells.com

hi have you tried removing the air filter as may give better combustion cheers also have you tried cutting tips off spark plugs to make spark go to the outer ring and a plasma igntion coil (higher voltage may tweak stuff )

nicely done ... would love to see validation of your mileage increase ... and have you performed tests with more modern computer controled autos ???

hey did the car run rich before the hho booster?
a number of people say that you would need to modify the o2 sensor because it reads more oxygen and so dumps more fuel into the combustion. I though for such an old car there may be either one or maby no oxygen sensor and so for old card you would not have the problem of the car running rich

No not overly, it blew a bit of smoke which it no longer does. I've found that the O2 sensor over ride is required in most EFI installs. The best way to think of the HOH gas is as a combustion aid, where the combustion can be leaned back dramatically without increased combustion temperature. My testing shows a better result from advancing the timing rather than retarding which is widely reported?

Have done some testing we EFI based vehicles with good results but not to the extent with the Dato. This is next on the agenda.

I'm doing a lot of tests with Air / Fuel / HOH / Vacuum and variations with up and down results. Will be starting on high energy ignition soon. Thanks.
hmmmm i am trying ... ( 5 months ago by must3232)
hmmmm i am trying to visualize this. With advanced timing the piston hits tdc compressing the fuel\air\hho and THEN the spark occurs.
But with normal timing the spark occurs a few degrees before tdc so, the mixture is ignited a few degrees before compression.
I think with larger engines where the air\fuel mixture volume is larger than the hho you probally see a better result from retarding timing because the engine is able to compress the mixture of air\fuel\hho even when it has been ignited
probally because of ... ( 5 months ago by must3232)
probally because of your old 1.3-1.5L engine, by retarding the timing so that it ignites a few degrees before tdc, the small engine is not able to compress the mixture of air\fuel\hho on the compression stroke. I am assuming you get a knocking sounds when you try to retard the timing
can you use smaller ... ( 5 months ago by mielectric1)
can you use smaller jets in the carby to lean the mixer, and keep it from knocking with the hho? Also a long distance test, >150km would smooth out the percentage of error and give much more solid results.

piffle! this guy is a freaking idiot/liar! generating one whole liter a minute of "HOH" for an engine that consumes 3600 liters a minute is a JOKE, our atmosphere is 21% oxygen! this added HOH amounts to 00.028% of consumed combustable atmosphere, less than 3/100's of ONE PERCENT!!!, people, do the math, this is the new SNAKE OIL!!!i'll add less than 1/50 of one percent hydrogen gas to my engine air and get a SUPER GAIN in performance, ummm DUH!!!! there's more hydrogen in gasoline...DUH!!!

Well guess ya have no clue what a HHO generator does or Effect it has on a carborated car . Plz do your research before you open your mouth . 1.2-1.7lpm out put can supplement a carborated car by up to 50% when your talking about a 10MPG increase that's a lot . Think about what 50% really is its not as much as you think.

How about the cathode and anode electron emitters. Do they warm up? Do you use pure water for the electrical conductivity? or you use and additive? I can see that your cell is outside of the HHO generator. Hoe does it produce if its not under water? Is there water in that cell ?
