But he doesnt know victoria's after her. in the book, the werewolfs save her, because he left and when he comes back he finds out that victoria is after bella. so i think it's just to cause drama. because Victoria knows they can;t do anything infront of there whole school. So maybe its just to show them she's after bella.

Right, that's my point. In the book he doesn't know she's after her until after he comes back in New Moon. So if he sees her again at the prom, he'll know she's after Bella, and he'll want to go after her. And like he said in the book, if he knew Bella was in danger like that, he wouldn't have left her alone. So unless they plan on keeping Edward around in New Moon; Victoria at the prom makes no sense.

Yeah when does Edward stand on a bridge.. and why is Victoria at the prom? But I don't think that they're gonna screw up the movie. They have to make up for all the pages in the book that just describe the emotion and what-not. And they're not just adding the scenes just to make up for those pages; they're adding scenes that make sense and help the story move along. Stephenie Meyer looked over the new scenes anyway, so thats good.
