you answered yourself, your not a guitarist so some of the materials you might not be able to appreciate since you havent gone through the process of learning such a masterpiece. I dont think i can ever this and im pretty damn sure because people who try playing this song on youtube cant even come close, and for those who actualy does, they cant play the ending as fast or accurately as jason becker.

haha ya youd have to play guitar to understand it. look at it this way, not even the greatest guitarists out there can pull off his songs with his precision. but take someone like slash, 1001 people can play his stuff exactly he he does no problem. plain and simple, jason becker was agod on the guitar, and he will always be a legend to guitar players everywhere.

haha ya i think they do know, but regardless, he might not have any idea what is going on around him now, but it was a slow slippery slope into what he is today, so im pretty sure he knew it was coming. i' really is sad, imagine what he would be like today if he was still able to play, peoples heads would just explode haha.

dude, you seriously think pantera is that heavy? listen to like dethklok or the red chord, that music is straight brutality. it makes pantera seem like hardrock, not even metal. pantera is seriously not heavy compared to modern music.

This is so interesting because, believe it or not, it was filmed almost twenty years ago! Jason's playing sounds as contemporary today as it did then, even when compared to the new material that's out there now, by many of the talented young players on the scene. personally, I'm more interested in other musical genres, but Jason transcends this preference. I could listen to him anytime!
