Welcome to Toronto! : ) I used to go to "Bookchang dong soondubu" restaurant and "Jin mi rak". The restaurants are in Korea town near Christie subway. Think about me when you eat food there. Bookchangdong soondubu serves very delicious soondubu jjigae, and Jin mi rak restaurant serves good and cheap samgyupsal (pork belly)with lots of vegetables.

Thank you (kamsamita) for the immediate reply. Sure I will think about you :-) even I talked about your website to a Korean lady who runs Korean wow wok restaurant in Mississauga. I love their Bulgogi and soups but they have less variety of beef, I love beef in Asian cuisine. I shall try your recommendations and give you the feedback afterward. Thanks again and have a sunny and warm weekend :-)

Hi Maangchi
Greetings from Singapore! First and foremost, thank you for uploading your video in Youtube! I learned a lot from your videos. We don't have much of Korean restaurants here in SG, mostly dominated by Chinese and Japanese,so I'm learning how to cook Korean food myself. Korean food is very healthy
in a sense - main reason why I love/like it (family/friends included).:) Hope you can upload more of your cooking videos. God bless you! Warmest regards, Wolfgang

I tried this recipe, and I ended up with a sweet taste to the soup. It didn't taste anything like the one I had at a restaurant. Ingredients seem similar, but I don't remember having onions in the yukgaejang I had at the restaurant. Did I do something wrong? I followed the recipe exactly. Is it normally like this?
