I became a fan after just one listen of "ferment" in the early 90s, down there in Chile, where the only way to find that album was looking into the bargain bin of our local record store under "female artists" (!!!)... ahaha, I bought Ferment original and sealed for like 2 dollars... yay for misinformed record stores!
