What Ron Paul failed to mention is #1.The only thing income taxes are used for is to pay interest to the FEDERAL RESERVE on money that they "LEND" (create out of thin air) to the American people - which has become MORE AND MORE to fund our illegal wars and #2. Income taxes are illegal, unconstitutional and were OVER RULED by the Supreme Court. The elitist bankers HIGH JACKED our monetary system. Income taxes are ILLEGAL. PLEASE, if you don't understand this, educate yourself and others.

and the other good movie that opened my eyes lately was "the zeitgeist" though i have some qualms with part i. but the last section in particular of "the zeitgeist" addresses the founding of the federal reserve and the illegality of the income tax.

We were not attacked because we were over there. We were attacked because of their extreme relgious views. They don't just attack America. They attack other countries and most of all each other. The real point to be made is Afghanistan and Iraq are two different countries. We can't invade every country in the middle east. Unless there is a cultural revolution in these contries there will always be terrorism.

What are you in 6th grade, and what flavor kool-aid do the neo-cons serve you people anyway? Do you're research, the "9/11 Commision Report" clearly states the CIA found groups like Al Qaeda, among others, were targeting the US because of existing bases in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. They attact us because they feel we've invaded their holy lands. Not just because we are free and our women don't wear burkas.

I love the fact that your criticizing me for not doing my research. YOU SUPPORT RON PAUL. Have you seen his policies? Ending public support for education, worker's rights, civil rights (except for the patriot act oddly), ending the separation of church and state, supporting ridiculous earmarks he claims to despise. As far as the 9-11 commission report goes...you have to keep reading Bin Laden goes on to discuss the moral bankruptcy of America.

It really appears that you haven't done your research. He thinks it would be a good idea to end FEDERAL aid for education. He strongly against the patriot act, I don't know where you got that from. I don't know where you got that he wants to end the separation of church and state he blatantly stated the opposite in the Bill Moyers interview. And do you think Bin Laden would have actually bombed America if only he thought we were morally bankrupt? I don't.

Holy shit! this is the first time in my life that i agree with a republican. The guy is not a hypocrit, he says the painfull truth about american policy and he really seems to mean what he says. The only thing you have to police is what u look for. If you want trouble go find it. That has been america policy for the last 60 years.

Ending FEDERAL aid for education is a fucking terrible idea. Education is a necessaery public good and many schools need federal aid to be halfway decent and ending federal aid would mean greatly diminished support for higher education. The point that I was making about the patriot act is that it is the ONLY civil rights legislation he has supported. He wouldn't support desegregation because suprise its a state issue.

I agree with him on the foreign policy issues, I disagree with him on the domestic policy issues. We need to use the income tax to support education, scientific research, health care, etc. All of the things that could improve the quality of life of all Americans. We should spend the income tax money on domestic issues, not cut it out altogether.
