| In the very late 1980s/early 90s, R.E.M., with songs like Stand and Shiny Happy People, entered a period in which it (partly) seemed most in synch with the joyous spirit of that other great Athens, Georgia band, The B52s. With some beautiful singing and thought provoking lyrics, this quirky, clever , fun 50s/early 60s inspired band deserve for Roam to become as well known as Love shack. In fact, I prefer Roam as it features the most beautiful singing in rock. |

| Awesome! The girls sound great, though Cindy may have had difficulty this morning after their concert the night before. FYI, I heard her last July in London and she sounds fantastic! Actually her voice has improved and she looked great. By the way, if you listen to the parts she sings in her songs with Kate, she has the harder job, since she sings both lower (Channel Z, Dry County) and higher parts (Cosmic Thing, Quiche Lorraine). I love all their music and Cindy and Kate! |

| ITA, Roam among other songs deserve the attention Love Shack gets. I'm glad they've had great hits like that and Rock Lobster. Hope they come my way soon. Only saw them twice w/o Cindy I think. I agree with other posters, Sara Lee kicks azz!!! |

| It is so important that everytime they do this song they do it different, because then you know you are listening to the real thing live as opposed to the many other pretenders who have a perfect produced CD version on playback. Live music rules, love the B52's. |
