Yes, there were empty seats at Indy, I wasnt too surprised by that. I still heard and read that about 260,000 people showed in the stands alone, not counting the rebirth of the infield, in which there was probably a good 50,000 more there. The gas price issue, yes that may be true, but I still think its the "core" fans leaving. Remember, IndyCar has already had growing pains (IRL in 1996), but yes, these are growing pains too. By the way, where are you from? Just curious.

I only count the people in seats, not the infield. The merger happened so its growing again. And you know what comes with growth....

Well, I think that if they play their cards right, then they will get it right and be successful again. But it will take time. I'm from a small town called Hughesville in Pennsylvania. Only about 2300 people. It's about 15 miles east of Williamsport, where the Little League World Series is. Actually the WS is in South Williamsport, but whatever. The closest track to me was a tie between Nazareth and Pocono, but now its just Pocono. Are you near any tracks?

The closest track is Michigan International Speedway. I have never been there but i have been to Daytona twice.

Like I've said before, I've only been to Pocono, and I dont care for it at all. The Mattioli's are assholes, sorry to be blunt, but they are. Pocono needs to be plowed over, or at least lose one date. DO NOT give it to the cry-babies in Kentucky. Also, take the fall date away from New Hampshire.

I like New Hampshire but it should get one date. Move the Dega race to just before the Chase and make Richond the first race of the Chase.

Haha, my one brother would love you because he DESPISES bruton (well, i have 10 siblings, so prolly the others would too lol). I dont know if I agree with the moving of the Talladega race though. Also, what if the IndyCars ran at Daytona. Not the oval (o god) but the road course. Remember, they tested there last year or the year before, so who knows. I highly doubt it will happen though.

I will scream bloody murder if an open wheel car sets foot on Daytona. (for a race) Its NASCAR's holy ground and Indycar shouldn't even be mention at Daytona. What's next indycar test at Darlington??? People will die!!!!!!! lol
Move the fall Tally race because last year was BORING. Move to before the Chase starts that way it will be exciting and worth watching. This follow the leader stuff doesn't cut it.

Actually, when USAC sanctioned the IndyCars back in the 50s, they ran at Darlington. I saw a film of it once somewhere. Honestly, I dont want to see IndyCars at Daytona, it wouldnt be right. But if they cant do that, then NASCAR cant run at Indy. Think about it. I have always hated the idea of NASCAR there.

The Tally race wasn't boring because of the car, ITS THE CHASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Spring race was great. No boring there.
If NASCAR can't run at Indy (the holy ground of open wheel racing) then how about NASCAR run a race in Hawaii? Think about that. IRL wouldn't never go there, NASCAR would. Sun, surf, coca nuts and the sound of 850hp.

CART almost ran in Hawaii back when they started in 1979. I cannot see NASCAR there, imagine transporting all those cars there. Not gonna happen. And dont argue that if the IRL can run in Australia and Japan, then NASCAR can, IRL has half the cars that NASCAR does. I do not see it happening ever. Yes, the spring race was great because of THE CAR!! the chase?!?!?!?!?! Ummmmm, I dont understand that at all. Please explain.

Fine, don't run in Hawaii, hold the awards banquet there. It will expose the sport to a place that only cares about Golf and Baseball.
Remember when Jeff Gordon said "i actually yawned inside the racecar." Yeah, thats because of the Chase. If you wreck, your basically out of it. All they did was play follow the leader 95% of the time. I in the first part of the race, it was 3-wide racing and in the last part of it they raced hard. I'm tried of people of blaming the car. SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep it in NYC at the Waldorf. Idk what should be in Hawaii, but try something. And get the Busch Series out of Mexico!

it wont ever happen. NASCAR would never allow an IndyCar race in Daytona during SpeedWeeks. Im also pretty sure that Tony George wouldnt want to do that.
