So are they Cristian skinheads or do they just wear Fred Perry's, boots & braces because it looks like all the cool kids are doing it? Do they preach the Bible at their shows? If that is the case, they can kiss my drunk ass. Usually that God shit interferes with my drinking schedule. I have heard about "reformed" racists skinheads who have turned to God. If they're Born Again Christians that wanna play dress up, they are gonna get their asses kicked. What is the real deal with this band?

anyways skinheads came from the "skin" movement where racism wasn't the thing, it was about immigration and protecting the worker of England. The "skin" music like Oi! had this influence but ultimately was not racist. Their style has that influence as well as it just happens their Christian. Although workers RIGHTS don't seem to be a theme, that music style influences them. Yes they preach the bible.

sorry it interferes with your drinking schedule but they hardly "get their asses kicked" for preaching, they tour around with the likes of Voodoo Glow Skulls and such because the punk scene respects them, but again they happen to be Christian. To me though, the punk scene is about community and common ground, much like what Jesus wanted. Us as brothers and relating to each other's struggle to pick each other up when you're down- at their show their "preaching" is showing that community

Dude...Dropkick Murphys are religious. A lot of skinz bands are, but that doesn't mean they go all rapture on your ass. Big deal, they believe in god, I don't but that's not why I'd see them. They play good music, and they're not bothering me, so what's the big deal? Can't wait to see them in September with Street Dogs

Dude, cropped hair is cropped hair and Hard beats are Hard beats. I agree with you on the bible beaters "playing dress up" comment - if that was the case - but its my understanding that thats not how it is. However I do know skins who are Straight Edge and have this "Do it for Jesus" attitude stuff. Not my thing but shit, if it makes you feel good, then go get it son!
