The image of perfection is creating the insecurities that causes these things, other things do cause anorexia but pressure to go or remain thin destroy peoples self asteem and makes them resort to extreme measures in order to just feel normal in their own eyes.

If you eat healthy instead of junk food or nothing you will lose a healthy amount of weight. People who dont eat are made of fat and can be obese because there is no muscle. Exercising and eating healthy is good

Why would you want to BE anorexic? Do you know how many people it KILLS? If you actually WANT to be, it's means you only want to for attention. It's a serious disease that I'VE dealt with. And I still am haunted by it. You don't want it to happen to you. I didn't want it to happen to me. God. Grow up!

I've been reading some of these comments and I have a few things to say. First off, eating disorders are not only girls wanting to be skinny. It's not just girls and it's not always about getting thin. Sometimes people do it for control or because they have a bad life. I not only starve and purge to lose weight, but because I'm haunted by my unfortunate past. And let me tell you, it IS real. I WANT to eat normally, but I can't. And for all you wanting to be anorexic, you have no idea...
