I dont know what this emo term really means. I'm old and withered. But I was your age in 1979 and that is when this band started. Punk was real then. Pistols, Stooges, Black Flag, DK, Ramones, Circle Jerks. These bands really kicked arse.
I pity the young person today that thinks green day is some type of equivalent.
