If we all work together, fans, by spreading the word - I've e-mailed everybody where I work a link to this vidoe - then she'll be famous enough to tour all major cities and we (fans) can say we were there in the beginning and had a hand in it. Anything else the energized fans can do bassettlandscape? Seriously, some of us want to do more than just watch and say WOW.

Ashford's Desiree Bassett, who had been billed to me as a 15-year-old guitar prodigy. I was skeptical when I heard this; the word "prodigy" seems to be used pretty liberally these days. Not so here. Desiree Apolonio Bassett is a shredder. She ran the voodoo down through a series of originals, and peppered her set with Jimi Hendrix covers which glowed under her nimble fretwork. She also took a particularly impressive extended solo over a 5/4 vamp that was just loaded with challenging twists
