no you are wrong. Brian only adds to the beginning of tear it up the intro of liar, when the were performing tear it up live. the studio recording of tear it up is way different.

the reason is probably that there are a lot more live recordings from shows during the eighties. queen and paul rogers and the we will rock you musical also perform mainly the songs from the later albums.

Listen to the version from Queen 1 between 0:50 and 1:06. It is the riff from Tear It Up. So don't try to be a know it all you schmuck. Also listen to Liar from the demo tape 'In the Beginning' from 1:06 onwards. And don't reply unless you wish to accept what I say because I just listened to my C
D of Queen 1 and heard the tear it up riff with my own ears.

Queen have about 300 milion records and played concrts to some of the biggest crowds of the 1970's. The biggest crowds would not come to see a band that sucks. I'm no psychologist but I'd guess you are grappling with your own sexualiy, trying to take out the anger resulting from being a long time

My original commet was to mention how fast Roger's drumming was in the first 30seconds especially from 0:08 seconds Even the Dream Theatre and Metallia drummers would be happy with that speed

you should listen to the studio version of tear it up on the works album. there is the real tear it up intro. PS: i forgot to mention. i met the composer of tear it up in munich in 2005 and asked him about it and BRIAN MAY should know what he's playing for over 20 years.
