A 1/2-scale flying model of a Star Wars X-Wing was flown at Plaster Blaster 6 on October 6, 2007. 23-feet tall, 19-foot wing span, and weighing in at over 600 pounds flight-wight. Amazing!

it would seriously suck for the guy that spent 10 years of his life building that thing.
Model rocketry is very safe. This stuff does not happen every time a big rocket is launched. ~98% of the rocket launches are successful!
